Team Run Eugene is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the necessary support for aspiring professional runners who otherwise would not have the opportunity to continue training post-collegiately.  Team Run Eugene’s mission is to contribute to a more compete and accessible running community in the Eugene/Springfield area.  We do this in three ways: elite athlete development, adult running programs and youth running programs.

Team Run Eugene strives to develop the next generation of elite performers competing on the national and international stages. TRE seeks to provide the resources necessary, including basic necessities and healthcare, to ensure its runners the opportunity to train at the highest levels. TRE is committed to giving back to the community through establishing a local running events, camps, and educational clinics for youth and adults alike.

  • 1. Develop and support an elite training group with everything needed to succeed athletically.
  • 2. Engage young people of all ages in running and track and field.
  • 3. Developing an adult running community that fosters and encourages participation at all levels.
  • 4. Create a culture of community engagement in all three branches of TRE (Elite, Youth, Adult)

I was a distance runner at Tennessee and haven’t been able to run since due to injuries. Last summer I bought an elliptiGo and trained 45-60 minutes 4-5 x day and ran in deep water the other days with 1 day of rest. Then I broke my ankle and am on the Go again, finally.

Can I join TRE so I can train with other runners, or can someone refer me to local ElliptiGo runners? I am totally committed to running again.
